The words binge-watching often create excitement or a fluttering feeling in us because the next few hours will be euphoric for us. Even if it is a bad one we are going to make it to the end to find out if it was worth it or not.

Either way, we sit through. Binge-watching can refer to watching movies as a marathon, a newfound series, or a watched one-on-one sitting till our eyes wear out. As amazing and fascinating as it is to watch something exciting it also comes with limits. Researchers have indicated that binge-watching can be bad for you.
The pros indicates that binge-watching helps with stress relieves, happiness, momentary dopamine influsion and as well as social engagement that involves topics to discuss and find certain movie scenes to bond over and have a laugh. This in fact can be an important pro as it can indicate sleepovers and various other engagements that might socially and mindfully content you.

As for the list that contains cons, the irony is that the same that indicates as pros may be taken as cons. For example, watching a 6-hour-long series can also induce stress having the afterthought of wastage of productive hours. The longer periods you spend watching series and movies we often regret that a certain chunk of our time is missing, instead we could have had the time to make some memories with our friends and family. We often feel instead of watching and feeling envious of people in the movies and series, we can make those scenarios come true and have an even more exciting life compared to that. Unfortunately, the cons list does not stop there. The more we engage ourselves in binge-watching we often forget the whole package of cons that surrounds it. Well for starters, while we binge watch we also binge eat. Putting a damper on our health involves digestion issues, weight gain, and many health risks that add up as the years go by.
Let's say you don’t eat while you binge-watch, health problems do not stop there. It can take a toll on your mental health. The more we watch as the fraction of time passes by, people often experience anxiety, unhealthy habits involving food, less time to exercise or not at all, etc.

The most crucial point is that people experience unhealthy sleep pattern that can disturb our REM sleep which basically is needed for us to function and keep us from becoming a complete non social person. Non-social person here is refered as someone who is irritable in nature, having less sleep, foul mood and being very fidgety. Of course, this does not define all in one but a vague description. Further Researchers have analyzed that it can also cause depression due to all the unhealthy habits stated above.
Studies have shown that 70% of people who sit for hours and hour-long consumption of TV can lead to blood clots in the brain. This can lead to serious health problems in the future. 16 years to 29 years of age people binge-watch. Farely in youth not regarding the later years to come.
As unbelieving and as annoyingly sad as it sounds to give up something that gives us a tremendous amount of happiness and joy, we can however consume in moderation. The six hour long binge can turn into three hour long binge , then you can have productive hours to get the important stuff out of your way.
For example, have consistent habits like exercising and eating healthy that automatically set your ample reduction in your cons list. However, exercising and eating healthy cannot be the only thing that leads you forward of time lost. Your career plans, your priority list that has been on hold has to be taken care of first.
This way your binge-watching can be worth every little time you spend for yourself appreciate all the time you have for yourself and enjoy your free time without any regret or any nagging voice in your head.
